Popular among both women and men showing early signs of aging (fine lines, wrinkles, sagginess, etc.).
The thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure for the face, neck, or jowls in which threads, which have small cones/graspers on them, are passed under the skin via a large needle.
Unlike a traditional surgical facelift, the thread lift doesn’t involve incisions or deep-tissue manipulation. This means that it is a much easier process for the patient (like getting fillers as opposed to getting a facelift).
During a thread lift treatment, temporary sutures are used to produce a subtle but visible “lift” in the skin. Instead of removing the patient’s loose facial skin surgically, we simply suspend it by stitching up portions of it.
This has the effect of pulling the skin back slightly and therefore lifting and tightening the face.
In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads combat aging in another way: by provoking the body’s “healing response” and causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to treated areas, which further reduces the aging process.
The treatment is extremely safe and effective, with an immediate skin lifting effect. It is a minimally invasive procedure with a very short down time.
